West Kent Rifle League’s Commemorative Medals at the Bisley National Rifle Meeting
Roger Chitty of the West Kent Rifle League kindly arranged for commemorative engraved medals to be added to this year’s Bisley National Rifle Meeting Competitor Packs, as a way to recognise this extra special Meeting and the Field Marshal Lord Roberts Match.
If you entered either the Weekend or Week Aggregate at this year’s event, you should have found them in your Pack.
These gorgeous medals have been carefully engraved in such a way to leave space for you to arrange your own engraving of your weekend or week aggregate score at the bottom.
Dating back to the early 1900’s, the West Kent Rifle League was the first league in the UK to run postal team events. Over a century on, the League continues to run many postal competitions, including the prestigious Prince William of Wales, which is still open for entries until 1 November 2025.
If you’d like to support a slice of history and enjoy a postal, then consider entering one of the League’s postal competitions, which cater to everything from individuals to schools and cadets.
