NSRA Coaching Scheme
The list below shows the structure of the NSRA Coaching Scheme. Course costs do vary slightly depending on the venue and other local conditions.
Once qualified at Club Instructor level a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required to support their coaching activity. This must be done through the NSRA and there is s small charge for this service. A DBS check may also be required for those taking the YPS Tutor qualification unless the candidate belongs to and will be using the qualification exclusively within a youth organisation which has already conducted its own check.
The course fee will also cover the cost of the issue of the candidate’s coaching licence by the NSRA. Licences are valid for five years. Renewal of licences are on the basis of submission of a log of instructing and coaching activity during the period of the expiring licence.
