Bisley National Rifle Meeting

A unique venue, a shared experience, a challenging shoot.  The Bisley National Rifle Meeting, there’s nothing quite like it!

The Bisley National Rifle Meeting is part of the fabric of small-bore shooting in the UK and a truly unique experience featuring a weekend and/or week of competitive shooting and socialising. Once a year the small-bore shooting community gathers to share stories, catch up and exchange ideas, either individually or at club level, as well as engage in competition.  It’s a valuable time to learn, grow and improve your skills & knowledge, and whatever happens you’ll be guaranteed to have tales to tell for years to come!

It’s the only chance you’ll get in the UK to encounter large numbers of competitors of each shooting class on the firing point at the same time, it’s a great way to test yourself against your peers and learn from them.  Many of the top-class shooters will spend the whole year working towards Bisley Week, buying equipment and batch testing ammo, all building up to the middle of August.  You may get the chance to talk with some of the best small-bore shooters in the country and gain some tips and tricks in the process!

If you’re looking for a challenge, shooting at Bisley week is for you!  Century Range provides a multi-pronged challenge with the mirage, thought-provoking wind conditions and occasionally, interesting weather. It is a great competition leveller, helping you gain new skills and making you a better shooter.

If you’re interested in entering the Bisley National Rifle Meeting but finding it a daunting task, don’t be put off!  We’re here to help with all aspects of your Bisley experience and want you to have the best time. This event typically opens for entries in March and closes by mid June.
Our handy guide covers all the basics and if you’re finding the entry form a bit scary, but don’t have anyone to ask, then our Competitions Team can help.

There are accommodation options available on site (including camping) which can be arranged via the NRA and the surrounding areas have some fabulous restaurants and pubs, perfect for taking it easy, and sitting down with friends over a drink or some food, exchanging stories of the day. There are also many social events that take place with multiple club houses and restaurants open throughout the week, if you’d rather stay on-site.

Once you’ve arrived, you’ll find our wonderful staff and volunteers can assist you with any queries. Our Bisley Buggy Crew will even transport you and your kit to the range, so that’s one less thing to worry about.

Join us, bring your friends and help support this fantastic event and celebration of small-bore shooting, during the height of the English summer!

Available in 3 different sizes, they also serve the perfect shelter from the extremes of a Great British Summer!

The Community Area is a great place to meet up with friends and make new ones! Our mini marquees offer a handy way to advertise your club and attract new members. You can take advantage of this opportunity by contacting marketing@nsra.co.uk to book yours!

We also have business marquees available to rent.  Situated opposite the Event Reception Marquee in a row that forms the event ‘High Street’, this bustling area is the main thoroughfare for all event activity.  The high footfall combined with a large captive audience provides a unique opportunity, uncommon in the UK and is great for brand exposure!  Grab the chance to interact with a large section of our community and promote your business by contacting marketing@nsra.co.uk today.

The Brock D. Comer Memorial Competition - New For Bisley 2025’s International Competitors

In 2025 we will be hosting the eighth Roberts Match, with our comrades from The USA coming over to compete against our GB Team once again for The Roberts Trophy. In the all our years competing against and alongside The USA at Bisley and Camp Perry we have gained true friends and life-long bonds, which we are extremely grateful and thankful for.

As a thank you to our counterparts from across the pond, and others who cannot compete in The British Long Range Prone Small-Bore Championship - also known as ‘The Roberts’ and ‘The Bobs’ - but support The Bisley National Rifle Meeting, Eleanor Shorey of The Competitions Department has put together a competition that will be inaugurated at The Bisley National Rifle Meeting 2025, called The Brock D. Comer Memorial Competition.

The Brock D. Comer Memorial Competition is open to all shooters who are not eligible for The Roberts British Prone Championship (e.g. American, Greek, French, etc.) it will be a two-stage competition, with stage one being shot concurrent with stage one of The Roberts.

You can find out more about this exciting, new competition here
