You can also check out our Event Calendar which hosts information on our competitions and courses along with competitions & events for our Affiliated Club and courses from our NSRA Qualified Instructors.
Our main in-person events of the year are the British Open Air-Gun Championships, the Bisley National Rifle Meeting and the NSRA/ELEY Final. However, there are some great postal competitions for all levels and abilities and our affiliated clubs run competitions throughout the year, if you’d like more opportunities to test your skills against other shooters!
Understanding each competition can be tricky if you are new to target shooting, so we’ve added a brief overview for each of our competitions in the purple section below. Each competition tile includes a link to a corresponding competition page with further details, entry forms, news and results.
If you have any questions about competitions that you can’t find below, please email competitions@nsra.co.uk

We couldn’t run our competitions without the generous support of volunteers, from setting up and packing away to competitor support and officiating, they give up their time so that others can compete. If you’d like to join our wonderful group of volunteers and help to enable our fantastic competitive events we’d love to hear from you! Contact competitions@nsra.co.uk for more information.
If you would like to donate to help fund our events, either by sponsoring a trophy, a whole competition or just making a contribution towards the running costs of the event, this can make a huge difference to us! Please contact us for further information.
NSRA Affiliated Club Area
We’ve created a dedicated NSRA Affiliated Club Area so that clubs will be able to share their competition entry forms with the wider shooting community. This will be especially useful for clubs without a website or social media presence. Please contact marketing@nsra.co.uk with your request to have your competition entry form added, quoting your NSRA Club Affiliate number.
