Where Can I Shoot?
If you’d like to try target shooting for the first time, you can’t beat our ‘Try A Shoot’ sessions!
These are taster experiences aimed at giving you an idea of what target shooting is all about and a chance to see if you like it before committing further. Try a Shoot sessions are all inclusive, all you need to do is show up! We provide the rifle, ammunition, targets and quality tuition so you just have to worry about hitting that bullseye!
Both our Bisley and Aldersley facilities run regular Try a Shoot sessions, so why not give it a go?

Other than our own fabulous facilities, there are over 800 NSRA Affiliated Clubs across the country, all with different goals, disciplines and specialities. Whether your looking to represent your Country, County or Club, or just looking for a more casual environment, with so many available, you’ll be able to find a Club that suits your needs.
There are other options for Try a Shoot experiences if we are not local to you. Many of our fantastic NSRA Affiliated Clubs offer Try a Shoot experiences too! These clubs actively welcome new members and are happy to share their passion for the sport with people that are interested in giving target shooting a go. It also gives you a great chance to see what it would be like to be a club member, if you decide you’d like to pursue shooting further.
Anyone can give target shooting a go! Many clubs offer disabled facilities and some offer visually impaired (VI) / blind shooting facilities too through the use of special equipment. Target shooting is one of the most inclusive and accessible sports available and has a thriving, supportive community.
There are other options for Try a Shoot experiences as some commercial enterprises offer these as part of a day of events and British Shooting do hold Try a Shoot days a few times a year.
