Tribute to James Marsh Brown
We are greatly saddened by the loss of James Marsh-Brown at the age of 79, a dedicated individual whose passion for shooting has spanned over fifty years. Recently awarded a truly well-deserved Special Services to Shooting Award at the British Open Airgun Championships in February 2025 by the NSRA.

James served as the CEO of DSGB Coaching, working closely with medal-winning Paralympic athletes, and as the honorary secretary of Disability Target Shooting Great Britain. He continued supporting various events and showcasing his commitment to inclusivity at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birth place of the Paralympic movement.
James, an accomplished shooter, demonstrated his skills not only on the firing point throughout his career, but also in a supporting role at International events such as the Olympics in Tokyo, Munich, Atlanta, and the UK, as well as the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. He made an impact wherever he was needed, not only at an international level, but closer to home. Using his extensive knowledge and passion as he served as Chairman at his local club and committee member for other clubs of the area and county, highlighting his commitment and expertise to the shooting community.
