Wonderful Weekends at the British Open Air Gun Championships 2026

What a wonderful couple of weekends at the British Open Air Gun Championships!  From newcomers enjoying their first BOAG to edge-of-your-seat finals, the atmosphere was on point and so were the shots!

We’ve got results and photos from the weekends on our BOAG competition page.  Congratulations to everyone that made the finals and to the winners!

Thank you to everyone that took part and attended. Professional photos are now available courtesy of TheShorey.com) if you use these on your social channels, please credit the photographer.

We are very grateful to the Welsh Target Shooting Federation’s target equipment team for once again coming to BOAG and producing the finals for us, the big screen makes it all the more exciting, thanks.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave up their weekend to make this event possible (One of our Range Officer’s, Tony, also competed!).

Thank you to our CRO and RO’s, Equipment Control and ISSF Jury, our Reception Team, and to our incredible Match Manager Team who took a brief moment from serious calculation and stats checking to pose for a fab photo!   The preparation to get Match Manager set up is vast and has taken quite a few sessions over several weeks to get sorted, big thanks to Jane Newing for her amazing skills and to Gavin Moffatt for assisting over the Cadets, BOAG and BOAG Sporter weekends.

The final part of the Championships took place on 28 February 2026 with the Sporter Rifle event. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to all our competitors and visitors attending BOAG.

We’ll see you again in February 2027!
