Top-venting Blank Firers (TVBF) Firearms Amnesty

The police are currently running a Firearms Amnesty from 3rd February until 28th February 2025 regarding top-venting blank firers (TVBF) manufactured in Turkey.  They have been classed as readily convertible firearms and therefore are illegal.

Text reads: You will not face prosecution when handing in your Turkish manufactured TVBF & you can do this anonymously. Possession of a readily convertible TVBF after the amnesty could result in imprisonment. Examples are: Retay, Ekol, Ceonic ISSC
