Shooting Graduate Assistant Opportunity at Sedbergh School
Sedbergh School, Cumbria, is seeking a Shooting Graduate Assistant to join its highly regarded and long-established shooting programme.
With over 120 years of target shooting history, Sedbergh offers one of the most comprehensive school shooting programmes in the UK. Pupils have access to multiple disciplines, including air rifle and air pistol, .22 rifle (prone and 3-position), and long-range shooting opportunities.
Training takes place year-round on the school’s 10m and 25-yard indoor ranges, as well as at local clubs for outdoor practice. Experienced shooters can take part in 3-position rifle as part of the only school 3P squad in the country, making this a unique opportunity for coaches with an interest in developing high-performance athletes.
During the summer term, pupils extend their experience to long-range shooting, with opportunities to shoot distances from 200 to 1400 yards at venues such as Huddersfield, Blair Atholl and Bisley.
Sedbergh’s Rifle Club has a proud record of success, including multiple Ashburton Shield victories, and a strong history of students and alumni progressing to represent Great Britain and other nations at international level.
