Paris Paralympics
The Paralympics is almost here!
The 17th Paralympics kicks off on 28th August in Paris with around 4,400 athletes from around the world competing across the 12-day event, which concludes with the Closing Ceremony on 8th September.
The Shooting Para Sport competitions start on 30th August at the Châteauroux Shooting Centre, which is roughly 3 hours from Paris, in central France. First up is the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 Qualification.
We have 4 incredible athletes at the 2024 Paralympics; Issy Bailey, Tim Jeffery, Matt Skelhon & Ryan Cockbill. Ryan and Tim will be the first British competitors in action on 30th August at 12:30 UK time for the R4 – Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing SH2 – Qualification. We were lucky enough to catch up with Issy Bailey and Tim Jeffery prior to their departure for the Games and got to chat everything from shooting to takeaways! These great interviews will be available on our website tomorrow.
