Ahead of the meeting on 25th February 2023, we're posting the AGM Resumption Notice and 2021 Group Accounts, Annual Report and Auditors Report.
During the Annual General Meeting on 14th January a question was asked about the routes by which members of the Association could put themselves forward for election to the Board of Management.
The only specific requirement in the NSRA Articles of Association for becoming a Board Member is that the person must be a Life or Annual Member of the Association. However other external requirements also apply as a Board Member is a Director of the Company and a Trustee of the Charity, so a candidate cannot fall into any category of person disqualified from acting in these roles. A candidate also needs to consider whether their existing role in the sport, particularly if it is in the way of business, could lead to a conflict of interest.
This year’s Short Range Postal Benchrest Championships will be shot this spring and will take the established form of a two-stage competition. The first stage will be in classes, 40 shots at 20Y or 25Y, classes being structured according to entry and the final will again be 60 shots to decide on the champion. We have revised the prize structure and entry fee to bring Benchrest in line with other postal British Championship events.
The entry fee will be £6.00 and entries close on Wednesday 15th February. Stage 1 prizes will be an NSRA Gold Medal to each class winner. The Final prizes will be NSRA medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place with an embroidered Champion’s Badge to the champion.
