As you will have seen in the Winter 2023/24 edition of On Target (issue 829), the Great Britain Rifle Team were incredibly successful in the Small-bore Prone Rifle International Postal Matches last year. It was a clean sweep, with victories for Great Britain in the Dewar Match , all three Drew Matches, the Randle Match, and the Wakefield Match. The full results for all the matches organised by the NSRA can be found on the NSRA website (

The Randle Match is organised by the NRA of America, who are responsible for publishing the full results.

The NSRA Rifle Committee are determined that 2024 will see Great Britain’s dominance continue, which will only be possible if the best athletes in the country are chosen as members of the Great Britain Rifle Team. The selection policy for the 2024 Randle Match will be published in the near future; the Randle Match is restricted to women athletes.

The Drew Matches continue to have postal trials as part of the selection process. For the 2024 Great Britain Drew Team Postal Trial, only one entry per athlete is allowed.
