The Gehmann Zero Magnification Dioptre has been passed for use by the ISSF. However, although these are used to correct vision problems, they do not constitute a single corrective lens under NSRA rules and therefore cannot be used in conjunction with an Eagle Eye.
NSRA Rules say:
8.4.3 A lens may be used attached to or forming part of the foresight………………………… The lens may not be used in addition to any other lens or system of lenses except a single prescribed sight-correction lens. The sight-correction lens may be either attached to the rearsight or worn by the shooter.
And:
8.4.1.2 Aperture. A rearsight, including tube sights, which may, if so desired, have attached a single lens or system of lenses not containing an aiming point as a substitute for, or in addition to, prescribed spectacles.
The Gehmann Zero Magnification Dioptre isn’t a single, prescribed sight correction lens. It’s an adjustable, off the shelf, sight correction, multiple lens system and so would not be allowed in conjunction with an Eagle Eye.
It can, however, be used with a foresight that doesn’t contain and Eagle Eye.

Neil Almond has very kindly created a National Ranking for three of the Summer 2023 competitions, 100, 102 & 103. This took a good many hours due to the manual nature of the process, so we’d like to thank Neil very much for his time and effort in making this possible.
We're really looking forward to welcoming all the NSRA Eley competitors to the Lord Roberts Centre this weekend (14th & 15th October 2023).
Here is timetable 1 and 2.
At the GB Dewar Match on Saturday 8th July the GB Team shot a new Team record score of 7,854 and beat Team USA (7,773) by 81 points, winning the Dewar Match 2023!
Given the amazing performance of the Team, selection for the GB Dewar Team 2023 was clearly very tough this year, and to beat a GB Team record that had stood for almost 15 years (7,852 set in 2009) is a fantastic achievement.

We’ll be posting full results and reports on our website as soon as we can after the event.

As many of the GB Dewar Team trialists slogged up, down and across our crowded motorways towards the Appleton Rifle Club Range in Cheshire, they may have been thinking,
“Is all this time, expense and hassle worth it?”
By the early evening of Saturday 10th July, they had their answer, as all had experienced the highs and lows of competing for a prized place as one of the GB Dewar Team members, and 20 had experienced the challenge and intensity of competing in the match itself.
