As the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic has become more widespread, as well as better understood, the Association decided to cancel all of its programmed Shoulder to Shoulder Competitions for 2020. When the Board “met” last week they ratified this decision and I can now confirm absolutely that all of the NSRA’s Shoulder to Shoulder Competitions are cancelled for 2020.

The Association will continue to monitor the situation and depending on how things develop will give serious

Help is potentially at hand for our affiliated Clubs in Wales who are experiencing difficulties as a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Remaining Results for the NSRA Winter 2019/20 Postal Competitions will be uploaded here as and when we are able to publish them.

For those teams who have been unable to complete shooting of Rounds 9 and 10 a blanket extension has been granted to shoot them by Monday 29th June.  We will endeavour to publish those results we have but please be aware that the end of Season results will not be confirmed until after the extension date.  

Sport England has today confirmed that it is making up to £195m of funding available to help the community sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

The package is additional to any funding support provided by the Government and is made up of the following:

We have looked at the most effective way to manage our postal competitions whilst following the advice of the Government and agencies such as the World Health Organisation. Taking their advice into consideration and appraising the present situation we have decided the following:

IMPORTANT: Official Cancellation of ISCH 2020

Dear Sir or Madam,

unfortunately we have to inform you that according to current orders of the authorities all major events in Hanover have to be canceled.

This orders and the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute force us to cancel ISCH 2020 officially. A postponement to a later date this year is regrettably not possible due to scheduling reasons.

Located centrally in England, the NSRA's West Midlands ranges at Aldersley Wolverhampton once again welcomed blind and visually impaired shooters from across the UK.

The NSRA look forward to welcoming Matt Skelhon and Issy Bailey to the Lord Roberts Centre today.

A Commonwealth Shooting and Archery Championships is set to take place in India in 2022 after a proposal to stage the event was approved by the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) Executive Board.

The event will be held in Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana and is scheduled to be staged in January 2022.
