Courses
The NSRA Club Instructor (Airgun) qualification is the first major step on the NSRA coaching pathway. The course covers the basic skills required to instruct and develop people in air rifle and pistol shooting.
The course will run over 2 days and covers:
- Safety and the law concerning rifles and pistols in the UK
- Equipment and ammunition
- Principles of the rifle and pistol shooting positions
- Warm-ups
- Making a rifle or pistol fit the shooter
- Natural point of aim and how to adjust it
- Sights and aiming
- Trigger control
- Breathing
- Follow through
- Understanding and optimising a shot routine
- Delivering sessions
