Cheddar Valley Rifle Club's A team have retained their Somerset 25-yard Postal League Division 1 title.

David Lattimore's funeral will take place on Friday 27th April at 1.15p.m. at Woking Crematorium, Hermitage Road, St Johns GU21 8TJ. It will be followed by a small reception at Lord Roberts Centre.

Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Charity via www.justgiving.com/David-Lattimore. There will also be a collection plate for the charity at the funeral for those who prefer to donate this way.

Selkirk Rifle Club sharpshooters Bill Vaughan, Eric Brown and Darren Brown were part of a six-man Scottish Southern Counties team which travelled to Aberdeen last weekend to take part in the Scottish Smallbore Rifle Association All Ranges Competition.

After being inactive for some years, the South East Regional Squad is to be revived. While the original squad was considered to be the premiere rifle squad in the 1990s, a lack of dedicated coaches led to it being disbanded once the coaches had left to pursue other goals.

Wee Paper sports personality 2011 Darren Brown has finished his season with a bang. Competing in the last Selkirk Rifle Club junior section shoot-off of the winter season, the 13-year-old sharpshooter took the junior championship with a score of 294 ex 300.

In this Olympic year Devon Scouts are aiming high in the sport of Target Shooting. Following a tough county wide qualifying shoot and a head to head final between 16 young people aged between 11 and 16 held at Exeter Scout HQ in February, a new Devon County Scout team was picked.

The NSRA's email service resumed late Wednesday afternoon. However it is expected that it will take a short while for all emails sent to the NSRA since Sunday 8 April to be received and for staff to clear the backlog in dealing with them.
