The British Shooting Schools Championships is back for another season and the entries are open now!

Schools Champs

Entries are now open for both the Schools Pistol and Rifle Championships 2021-22.

The format for this season sees the regional round shot remotely. Athletes can enter the Schools Rifle and/or Schools Pistol events via the respective pages on the British Shooting website.

Following entry to this competition targets will be posted to athletes to shoot at their preferred location in accordance with the rules.

Athletes then need to submit their scores centrally via the British Shooting website.

ENTRY: Regional round entry closes on Sunday 21st November at 11:59pm.

SCORES: Regional round scores to be submitted by Sunday 5th December 2021 at 11:59pm.

Shortly following the score submission date, the results for all the 11 regions (including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) will be published along with the individuals and teams who have qualified for the National Final.

We’re delighted that the National Final will be held for the first time at the fabulous venue of Chase Leisure Centre, in Staffordshire on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th February 2022.

Cannock sits in the heart of Great Britain and is not only a great location to invite the top individuals and school teams from across the UK to tussle for the national titles, but also an area of great sporting and, in particular, shooting strength.

We’re thrilled to have several local shotgun, rifle and pistol clubs involved with the National Final, including Rugeley Rifle Club. This is particularly important as for the first time we’ll be delivering, in partnership with the local authorities, a have-a-go day for young people and adults on the National Final range the day after the competition.

We hope the local school children who will be invited to the National Final will be inspired to get involved in our inclusive sport.

This season promises to be a fun, welcoming and competitive Schools Championships which culminates in a bigger and better National Final!
