Thanks to the sterling efforts of our volunteers from Goodyear Rifle Club and the multi-skilled digger operators from Ridgewood Contractors the outdoor range at NSRA Aldersley has reopened today, Monday 29 March for .22 rimfire and air.
The reopening is in accordance with the latest NSRA Guidelines and Government Roadmap for England
Here are the steps to follow:
- Sessions must be booked in advance by telephoning 01902 743562
- Payment on arrival
- Weekday sessions will operate in 90 minute blocks to include setting up and packing away
- Sessions commence at 09.30, 11.00, 12.30 and 14.00
- Weekend sessions (Saturday & Sunday) will be 10.00 and 11.30
- Wednesday and Friday sessions are air rifle only
- Other sessions will be .22 rimfire
- When telephoning please leave a voicemail message as staff maybe busy with renovation work on the indoor 10 metre range
- Cost per session will be £7.50 or £5.00 for NSRA Life and Annual Members plus members of Goodyear and Lucas Rifle Clubs and Aldersley Air Gunners
- Targets, ammunition and pellets can be ordered at the time of booking
- Each session will be run by a non-shooting range officer whose instructions must be followed at all times
- On arrival please follow the instructions from the marshals concerning car parking
- Entrance to the range will be via the green metal gates only with no access to the centre
- Covid restrictions must be adhered to at all times
- Please make sure you maintain social distancing and remain masked other than when on your allocated firing point
- No food or drink can be consumed on the premises
- On completion of your session please pack away and leave immediately without mixing
- Any infringement of Covid restrictions will result in those responsible being asked to leave
