We are aware that following an adjournment debate in Parliament on the use and control of airguns, the Minister for Policing and Fire Service, Nick Hurd has undertaken to review the regulation of air weapons in England and Wales.

The Minister recognises that existing controls on airguns are very robust by International standards. The Minister has confirmed that any new proposals would be put out for consultation with interested parties.

The NSRA through the British Shooting Sports Council would be party to these consultations.
