On Saturday 9th November, Rugeley Rifle Club were proud to announce the unveiling of a Public Access Defibrillator on the front of their clubhouse.
The PAD is accessible to all members of the public and has been purchased through fundraising events taking place at the rifle club. In partnership with the Rugeley and District First Responders, club members raised over £1000 towards this project in just a little over three months.
Rugeley Rifle Club has been in continuous existence in Rugeley since 1879 and is regarded as one of the best Small-bore Rifle Clubs in the UK offering all Olympic & Paralympic Rifle and Pistol disciplines and is a British Shooting Disability Hub Club.
