The Lord Roberts Centre is the home of the National Small Bore Rifle Association, the governing body for all the small bore ( both .22 rim fire and air pistol and rifle) shooting in the UK.

The Lord Roberts Centre also has the largest (in terms of firing points) small bore rifle and pistol ranges in the country supporting a wide range of shooting disciplines.

The following ranges are available to both NSRA member and non members. Non members are most welcome to use our ranges and can pay a £10 day membership fee on top of their range hire.

The following ranges are available:

Only single shot .22 rifles and pistols are permitted on this range and visitors are expected to shoot to a good 'club' standard.

We have two 'whizzer' ranges (so called as the targets are attached to strings that 'whiz' between the firing points and target holders!). Both ranges are suitable for low powered air pistols and rifles. For beginners we recommend starting on the 6 yard range then moving to the 10m range as your confidence and accuracy grow.
