Here’s all you need to know about entering the Bisley 100, where we celebrate 100 years of excellence in shooting at our National Championships.
We are pleased to announce that entries for the Bisley 100 are now open!
You can now enter to join us for the centenary of our National Championships, where we will be crowning new competition winners, celebrating our past, and welcoming everybody back to Bisley after the two-year COVID-19 hiatus.
Apply through the NSRA website here, and read more about what to expect from the event below.
3 Special Competitions
The National Meeting includes 3 competitions designed in tribute to our prestigious past.
To commemorate the first official National Championships held at Bisley all those years ago, the first competition (‘Bisley 1922 Match’) will see modified 1922 style ‘SMRC’ targets shot at 100 yards, 50 metres and 25 metres. Next is the 50 Metres Rapid Fire Match, with 20 shots being fired in 3 minutes followed by one minute firing at a 50 metre Skirmisher target.
There will also be a special Bisley Aggregate Champions Match, where previous winners of either the Weekend Aggregate or Championship Aggregate at Bisley have the chance to compete against one another and become Bisley 100’s aggregate champion.
Whether you’re a competitor or a spectator, this offers everyone in attendance the opportunity to witness some of the best shooting of the century- an honour in itself.
Platinum Jubilee Meeting Championship
As this is a monumental year for our monarch as well as ourselves, we’re also inviting participants to join the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Meeting Championship.
This is an aggregate of five events: The Weekend Aggregate, Championship Aggregate, the first stage of the Earl Roberts, the Bisley 1922 Match, and the 50 Metres Rapid Fire Match. They are all available to participants of the Platinum Jubilee Championship at a 10% discount to the price of those events separately.
You may also have credit to carry forward from your Scottish Meeting 2020 entries if you kindly chose to use that event’s fees for future NSRA events. Contact our Competitions Team to confirm the amount of credit available to you.
To register for our centenary events, you can find a printed copy of the entry form as the centre pages of On Target Magazine.
Alternatively, electronic versions of the entry form can be downloaded from the link below (Competitions -> Entry Forms -> 2022).
Entries close on Wednesday 22nd June 2022, so be sure to reserve your spot at your earliest convenience. We look forward to celebrating Bisley 100 with you!
