Three card system introduced 1964 or 1965 - not sure which. Prior to that Army carried target frames for 10 shot details at 25, 50 and 100.

I remember Dumbarton in 1973, vividly!! There was so much rain the wooden ammo for which I was so proud to have (I was still a 14 year old junior) became so swollen I couldn’t get the ammo out of the blocks!!

Extremely wet and windy-no X or A shooters made England Team but selection finally done on known performers after an uprising. Main marquee nearly collapses.

Last unsquadded meeting. It was so windy for the start of the week by Wednesday few people had shot their agg.

The range at Lauder, set in the grounds of Thirlestane Castle, is the ideal setting for the NSRA Scottish Rifle Meeting. Many shooters have provided constructive feedback regarding improvements. The Rifle Committee have listened to the points raised by competitors and because this is the 100th Meeting we have sanctioned the below range improvements:
