The Great Britain Team for the 2019 Dewar Match will be selected following the trial held at Appleton Rifle Club, near Warrington, on Saturday 15th June 2019. Those who have already qualified for the trial include the top 40 shooters in the Class X or Class A Championship Aggregate at the 2018 Rifle Meeting, the qualifying score being 2,673. Also qualified are the top eleven shooters in the Scottish Meeting Grand Aggregate 2018 who did not enter the Bisley Grand Aggregate.
We will organise the replacement of targets as stock from the printers allows. Please do not send in requests for other targets until notice is given that they are in stock. With regard to the ongoing target situation and the ELEY Competition, we would encourage everyone to enter the ELEY Competition as normal.
Shooting dates for the first round will be amended for those disciplines where targetry is not currently authorised for National Competition use, as the targets become available.
In those Competitions where targetry is authorised for use i.e. Comp B (Prone Rifle) and Comp G (10m Air Pistol), the normal published shooting dates should be used.
Winter 2018/19 Postal Competitions
Entry forms have been distributed to all individual members of the NSRA and club copies have gone to the Club Secretaries with their latest edition of the ‘On Target’ magazine. If any of your shooters attain a highest possible score in an NSRA competition and would like a certificate to commemorate the event, please complete and send back the form along with a cheque for £3.00 and we will sort this out for you. If it is not an NSRA competition, you will need to send the target along with the claim form and payment so that we can verify the high score. They can be used for any competition and any discipline.
