The City of Truro Rifle Club is a well established club originally formed from the Truro Home Guard. The club offers both small-bore rifle and airgun disciplines, and has an indoor range - 25 yard (small-bore) and 10 metre (airguns), as well as a 50 metre outdoor range. The club has members ranging from 11 to 70 plus, male and female shooters. The club also encourages the disabled into shooting and offers coaching to beginners on a Friday evening.
The club is active both in local competitions within Cornwall as well as competing in national competitions on a postal basis.
