Shooting in her first outing in a senior British squad at the ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, Jen McIntosh, 18, set a new British Junior Record Score in the Women's 50m Three Positions Rifle. Her score of 581 (198 prone, 188 standing and 195 kneeling) added three points to the existing junior record and was only one point off the senior record. Jen was one of five shooters on 581 who tied for 6th place, and so had to take part in a five-shot shoot-off. She was finally ranked in 10th place. Jen’s hard work and dedication to her chosen sport is paying dividends since she has now equalled two British records and set this new one so far this year.
