James has broken four new Welsh Shooting Records, achieved three new Personal Best’s and won all three events (Junior and Senior) which he entered in the 10m, 25m Sport and 25m Standard at the recent British Pistol Club Championships held at the Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley.
The NSRA would like to congratulate Mr William John Dallimore and Mr Ian (Charles) Thomson, who have been honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List, being made Members of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Target Shooting.

The NSRA would like to congratulate Lucy Thomas from the Carmarthen Rifle & Pistol Club on her latest achievement. Lucy won the Stradey Centenary Cup in December 2018 at the Brin Isaac Awards. 2018 was the 68th annual Brin Isaac Awards.
The Stradey Centenary Cup has been awarded to 21 different sports including cricket, athletics and judo. Lucy is the first pistol shooter to be awarded the cup.
Ian Heald was nominated for Sports Volunteer of the Year at Lincolnshire Actives Sport Awards by Lincolnshire Small-bore Rifle Association, for his work throughout the county and within his own clubs; Yarbrough Target Shooting Club and Hemswell Rifle Club.
James Miller took up pistol shooting as a Scout in Epsom and went from strength to strength.
