As the National Governing Body, the NSRA has a policy in place to not become involved, comment on or reply to personal views or opinions posted on social media and will not respond via social media. However the NSRA will continue to share information on their website, and via our social media when relevant.
Comments on social media represent the personal views of an individual or a group of individuals and these views may not represent the views of the NSRA and may contain nonfactual information, not reflect an accurate picture or be representative of the actual situation.
The NSRA is here to represent the interests of all shooters at all levels and in all shooting disciplines of our sport, from beginners through to the more advanced and elite competitors. We as a National Governing Body welcome constructive comments and contributions from our members on how the Association 'works for its members' in helping to advance the sport of small-bore target shooting and develop the Association.
Our remit is to serve the interests of all those who participate or may wish to participate in our sport. The schedule for competitions for 2018 and beyond has been set in order to attract as many participants as possible and avoid conflicts that have been made known to us by members. Our aim is to deliver a balanced, viable, sustainable and fair competitions programme, so that we can provide our members with as many opportunities to participate across all disciplines. Whilst we may not be able to meet the individual requirements of all members, we do strive to achieve a workable result for all.
