I wanted to take an opportunity to let you know about some upcoming events and fill you in with the latest news from the NSRA Competitions Team. If you wish to opt out of e-mails, please reply to let me know and I will remove you from the circulation list.
Firstly, this is to let you know that the Competitions and Events Manager (Phil Martin) has now taken the plunge and moved to Australia, therefore leaving the NSRA behind him. The vacant position will be advertised shortly, so please keep an eye out for more details if this might be of interest to you.
British Long Range Pistol 50m Championship – 23rd September
The entry form for this event can be found by accessing the following link on the NSRA website: http://www.nsra.co.uk/index.php/competitions-mainmenu-158/entry-forms
The decision has been made by PACC that the championship can only run if there are 14 or more people competing in the event. One of the main focuses of the event is that the Mayleigh International Match will be shot on the day and the team selection will take place from those competing in the Championship. We will need to reach the total of 14 competitors by 14th September in order for the championship to take place. Please share this information with fellow pistol shooters and distribute as widely as you can.
Winter 2018 Crossbow Competition
Also on the following link http://www.nsra.co.uk/index.php/competitions-mainmenu-158/entry-forms is the Winter 2018 Crossbow Competition entry form. All of the information you should need for this event can be found via the above link. Please share this information with anybody at your club who shoots using a crossbow.
British Open Air Gun Championships – 22nd - 24th February 2019
BOAG has now taken its place back in February focusing on the 10m events only. The separate Pistol Championships will move back to September for 2019, scheduled to take place between 21st and 22nd September. The entry forms for both events will be put up onto the website in due course and distributed accordingly to previous competitors.
If you have any questions on anything you have read or wish to opt out for communications, please come back to me.
Very best wishes,
